FMF - CROWD

Five Minute Friday - 9/14/18

GO

She saw him.  "Oh this is my chance.  The people might kill me for being near them but I have to try, " she thinks.  Reaching, pressing and finally crawling like a child she reaches through the legs of all the people.  Oh so many legs and so many men to get to through.  Finally she reaches him.  Just to touch the hem of his robe.  "Got it", she thinks, then it happened.  Warm honey feeling from the tips of her fingers and all through her body.  "Oh this was worth it", she thinks.  Something she has never felt, forget the crowd around her, this was worth it.  Touching Jesus was all worth it.

Then it happened, He noticed.  He felt the power leave his body and He ask who touched Me.  It was I who touched Him and received in the middle of the crowd.

For we are like this woman.  We reach and reach through the crowd.  We reach through the hands of the clock.  Tick-toc, seconds and minutes and hours tick by.  I must reach Him we think but the crowd of the hands of the clock are in the way.  We must be intentional about getting past the ticking of time and forge out our time like mining for gold or silver, for He is more precious than silver.  He is worth it.
